Holiday Florals

This weekend I decided that I would make some floral arrangements in items I could find in the produce department. I grabbed a few pomegranates, a yellow pepper, a green pepper and a small sugar pumpkin. The pomegranates were definitely my favorite. I picked up a bouquet of white roses on sale and some pom pom mums. I carved the pomegranates mostly hollow and added some floral foam. Arrange the roses first, adding greens from the roses and then add the mums.

I also set up a small space at Vintage Thymes monthly market, selling some of my vintage inspired items and some dried lavendar. It was a busy weekend. If you follow me on Pinterest, you may have seen my starting to pin items for the market. There are just too many ideas and too little time to get it all done. Here's my space. I hope to have many more items for December's market.

Made with Studio

I've been doing a lot of design work and have been using the Studio app to make some quick posts on the go, right from my phone. There are a lot of apps out there that do this collage type style, but I've found Studio to be one of the best so far. Fairy Gardens

When we first got the Fairy Gardening products in at Village Green Nurseries, we started creating these moss baskets.  They are great for using in potted gardens, window boxes, or anywhere you need small accents.

What are Fairy Flowers?

This is a great project to start with the kids for Mother's Day or any day. These container gardens are great for keeping indoors or out. Here you can see the detail in the moss baskets. I also paired them with some pansies. More information on the products here.

Party jars

I needed a few small arrangements for a party. It was a tea party, so I made these.

So cute. Inspiration came from this pin, for a wedding on Style Me Pretty.
